My mom and dad were getting a divorce, and I did not have much self-esteem. I did not feel like I could do anything right. Mom brought me to take an introductory martial arts class at SMA. I really loved it, so when my mom asked me if I wanted to continue I said yes. I have loved every minute that I have been at SMA.
I have worked hard with the help of my instructors. They had patience with me, and confidence that I could achieve my goals. I now have confidence, self-worth, and I feel good about myself. I have been taking Taekwondo for 5 years now and am working toward my 3rd Degree Black Belt. I am continuing my journey down the road in my Taekwondo career. I thank the Willits family for their help and guidance.
